The MitoCanada Road Cycling Team is an exciting team of cyclists participating in all levels of racing (Cat 2-5) and large group event riding in Alberta, across Canada and even around the world. With well over 50 team members sporting the MitoCanada Road Cycling kit, this team has become a well-recognized group of riders known for their friendly inclusive attitude, pursuing individual and team goals and raising awareness for Mitochondrial diseases. With many successful finishes and personal bests achieved, the MitoCanada Road Cycling team is quickly becoming a powerhouse in road cycling in Canada. The team’s approach to road cycling is to ensure all riders cross the finish line safely with a smile on their face, pushing the limits of their performance and enjoying the physical suffering of long endurance events for “those who can’t”.
Team Lead: David Lendrum

Nice meeting some of the members of MitoCanada today at the nordic center. Their Julia and our Julia became fast friends and we hope to see more of them in the coming months.
