Heather Bester is a busy, health conscious mother of three who believes that healthy and delicious foods can be the same thing. She lives with her husband and three children in a small town in the Canadian Rockies where they enjoy an active lifestyle. Heather has been a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for over 20 years, and a member of the College of Dietitians of Alberta and Dietitians of Canada. Her knowledge encompasses scientific training, life experiences and exploration of alternative nutrition. Her talents include researching and teaching about the ‘complex’ world of nutrition and making it simple, appealing and practical so that everyone can enjoy the best nutrition for themselves and their families. Nutrition is the foundation for life.
Heather’s experience in private practice and the hospital setting includes assessment and counseling in areas of healthy eating, chronic disease management, high risk pregnancies and maternal child nutrition for mom and babe. She would like to guide you in achieving your optimum nutrition: whether that be for peak performance in athletics, maximizing health and energy levels, achieving a healthy weight, coping with stress and disease or minimizing the effects of aging. Heather has many easy tips for good nutrition that come from her experience as a mother and nutritionist, and based on the most recent research. She will also share recipes with you that are healthy, tasty and fun to make.
