There is support and there are people like you who understand. Ottawa now has a Parent 2 Parent support group for Rare and Undiagnosed Disease.
The Rare Disease Foundation is an organization comprised of parents, caregivers and clinicians who are united in their desire to transform the world of rare disease care.
Some of the families who attend this event have children with Mitochondrial Disease, which is not as rare as it seems, but certainly is not as well known as we one day hope it will be in the medical community.
Join us at our monthly parent meetings to find out how we can learn from each other and find out more about caring for our special children.
