Anyone who is affected by mitochondrial disease, either as an adult, a caregiver, as a parent, or as a friend or family member, knows how challenging the long road of diagnosis, treatment, and living day-to-day with this disease can be.
In Canada the situation is that much more difficult due to the huge distances of our geography and the challenge of finding others in a similar situation that may be able to provide some support.
Does this sound familiar? Please contact MitoCanada at info@mitocanada.org to connect with fellow Canadians and get the support you need.
